Pour Recall Terms of Service

Welcome to Pour Recall, a wine logging app brought to you by IFIO Girl, LLC, a Kansas City-based company. By downloading or using Pour Recall, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them — we promise they’re shorter than a wine list.

1. Who Can Use Pour Recall

Pour Recall is intended for adults who are of legal drinking age in their country or region. By using the app, you confirm that you meet the legal drinking age requirement where you live.

Pour Recall is a wine journaling tool. It does not sell alcohol, deliver alcohol, or encourage excessive drinking. Please drink responsibly.

2. What Pour Recall Does

Pour Recall lets you log, photograph, and save notes about wines you’ve tried. It’s your personal wine memory: simple, playful, and judgment-free. No sommelier credentials required.

Pour Recall also offers an optional AI Label Scan feature that can read the wine name and wine type from a label photo. Using it is always your choice (see Section 6).

3. Free Access and In-App Purchase

Pour Recall is free to download and use. Free accounts may log up to five (5) wines at no charge. After your fifth wine log, you will be offered a one-time in-app purchase of $2.99 USD to unlock unlimited wine logging forever — what we call Full Access.

Please note:

  • This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. You will never be charged again.
  • All billing is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) according to their respective payment policies.
  • Refund requests for in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google, not by IFIO Girl, LLC. Please contact the platform through which you made your purchase for refund inquiries.
  • Pourever Access is tied to your account. Keep your login information safe.

4. Your Account

You may create an account using your email address or via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately at admin@ifiogirl.com.

5. Your Content

Any wine notes, photos, or other content you log in Pour Recall belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your content. We do not share, sell, or display your content to other users your wine journal is yours and yours alone.

We Share your content only with service providers that help run the app, such as Adalo for hosting and storage, and OpenAI if you choose to use AI Label Scan, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You may delete your account inside the app using the Delete Account button. Deleting your account removes your Pour Recall account and saved wine data from the Adalo database.

6. Optional AI Label Scan

AI Label Scan is an optional feature that uses artificial intelligence (AI) from OpenAI, a third-party service, to read the wine name and wine type from your label photo

  • It’s your choice. Pour Recall asks for your permission before any photo is sent to OpenAI. You can turn AI Label Scan on or off at any time in Account Settings.
  • Manual entry is always available. Typing in the wine name and tapping a wine type will always be an option for everyone, whether or not you use AI.
  • Results are suggestions. AI can make mistakes, especially with dim lighting, glare, curved bottles, or hard-to-read labels. Please review the wine name and type before saving. You can edit or change them at any time.
  • No guarantee of accuracy. IFIO Girl, LLC does not guarantee that AI Label Scan results will be complete or correct.
  • Feature changes. We may update, limit, or discontinue AI Label Scan at any time. Your saved wine entries will not be affected.

7. Data We Collect

Pour Recall collects information needed to operate the app, including account information and the wine logs, notes, photos, ratings, and other details you choose to save. If you choose to use AI Label Scan, your label photo is sent to OpenAI to identify the wine name and type. We do not sell your personal information.

8. Acceptable Use

Pour Recall is designed for personal wine logging. You agree not to use the app for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to reverse engineer or copy the app, to misuse the AI Label Scan feature, or to use the app in any way that could harm IFIO Girl, LLC or other users.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Pour Recall, including AI Label Scan, is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. While we work hard to keep the app running smoothly, IFIO Girl, LLC does not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, IFIO Girl, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Pour Recall. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for Full Access.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Pour Recall after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
