Pour Recall is a project of ifiogirl. We believe you have the right to know exactly what we collect, how we use it, and what we will never do with it. No legal jargon — just straight talk.
What Is Pour Recall?
Pour Recall is a private beta web app — a personal wine journal that lets you log, rate, and remember every wine you try. It is currently invite-only and accessible at pourrecall.app.
Because Pour Recall is still being built and tested, it lives in your phone’s browser rather than the App Store or Google Play Store. It works exactly like a regular app — you can even save it to your home screen for one-tap access.
What Information We Collect
When you create a Pour Recall account we collect:
- Your full name — so the your app experience feels more personal.
- Your email address — so we can communicate with you if needed
- Your password — encrypted and never visible to us or anyone else
That’s it. We do not collect your location, your contacts, or ask for payment of anykind.
Where Your Data Lives
Your account information is stored securely on Adalo’s platform — a professional, paid app-building service that uses industry-standard encryption to protect your data. You can learn more about Adalo’s security at adalo.com.
Your Wine Photos
When you photograph a wine bottle in Pour Recall the photo stays on your device. It is never uploaded to our servers or stored anywhere outside your phone. Your camera roll is yours.
The Beta Survey
After logging your 5 pours you’ll be directed to a short feedback survey. This survey is hosted on Google Forms — a platform operated by Google and subject to Google’s privacy policy. You do not need a Google account to complete it. Your survey responses help us improve Pour Recall and are never shared or sold.
What We Will Never Do
- ❌ We will never sell your personal information
- ❌ We will never share your data with advertisers
- ❌ We will never contact you with anything unrelated to Pour Recall
- ❌ We will never store your photos on our servers
Who Has Access to Your Data
Only the ifiogirl team — which right now is just me — has access to account information. Your data is never passed to third parties outside of the platforms listed above.
Beta Program & Data Retention
Pour Recall is currently in private Beta V2. At the conclusion of the beta your account information will either be migrated into the full app or securely deleted — your choice. We will contact you by email before any changes are made.
